What is zing zillas?

ZingZillas is a children's television programme featuring a band of five zing-anthropomorphic primates. The program is produced by the BBC and airs on their CBeebies channel. The show teaches young children about music, particularly world music. It was first broadcast on March 22, 2010. In addition to educating children, the show also promotes musical performance and encourages viewers to sing along with the musicians. The show has been praised for its educational content and the quality of its music. The band members each play a different musical instrument: Zak the gorilla plays the drums, Tang the lemur plays the maracas, Panzee the chimp plays the keyboard, Drum the orangutan plays the guitar, and Ziggy the zebra plays the bongos.
